DAVID JENKINS BSc (Hons)

David has over 20 years experience working in professional sport as the head Therapist to various teams

In 2012 he devoted his time to establishing Sports Therapy Scotland Limited.

Aiming to provide the best possible treatments and education within the clinical environment, David is committed to lifelong personal development and learning.

In 2017 David ventured into the Film World as the Sports Therapist to Hollywood actor Chris Pine during the filming of the Netflix Production of ‘Outlaw King’ travelling to all 47 locations working with Chris and the rest of the cast daily.

Since then he has worked with Director Michael Caton-Jones 2018, the cast and crew of ‘Outlander’ 2018 – present, ‘Succession’ 2019, ‘Batman Returns’ 2019, and ‘Tetris’ 2021.

All Sports Therapy Scotland Clinic treatments & STS courses are applied/taught by David Jenkins BSc(Hons)SpTh.

David has over 20 years of experience in professional sports, TV & Film and is also the Sports Therapist to Undisputed World Boxing Champion Josh Taylor.

Yasmin has been with Sports Therapy Scotland as the Clinic Manager since 2017.

Playing a  pivotal role in successfully managing the day to day business side as well as the Sports Therapy Scotland patient appointments and all our online accounts.

For our education courses, Yasmin co-ordinates all the logistics ensuring the smooth running of our courses throughout the UK.

Jordan Edgar

High level sportsman and sports therapist.

As an Elite athlete competing at National level badminton Jordan Edgar has invaluable experience of being on & off the treatment table looking after his patients who include professional athletes, performers and fitness enthusiasts.

Jordan will be available for Sports massage and other treatments and can be booked by calling us on 0141 334 1223.

Jordan has weekly Saturday and evening appointment availability in our Glasgow Clinic.

Ryan Ferrie

Elite Athlete & Sports Therapist joins the Sports Therapy team

Ryan has been involved in sports throughout his life, more so in football as a Goalkeeper playing at a high level for the likes of Celtic and Falkirk.

He has since been the first team sports scientist for Stenhousemuir football club and worked with Elite athletes helping their nutritional needs for competition.

Ryan has also been a Personal Trainer and group exercise instructor for almost 10 years training people to improve their strength or to lose weight.

He has a vast amount of qualifications with already a Master’s degree in sports science and medicine from Glasgow University and Post-graduate diploma in Sports Nutrition.

Now he is currently a student physiotherapist studying at Queen Margaret University, with an interest in Musculoskeletal injuries
In his spare time, Ryan likes to do Brazilian jujitsu and indoor rock climbing.
