Sports Therapy Scotland has been providing HSE approved First Aid Training for over 10 years.

We are pleased to announce we will  be holding a Sports First Aid course in Edinburgh on Saturday 7th April 2012

Why do the Sports therapy Scotland Sports First Aid Course?

David Jenkins has 20 plus years experience in professional sport ,- Scottish Premier League, Elite Professional Ice Hockey , Professional Mixed Martial Arts and recently The World Karate Championships at Ingliston Edinburgh 2011.Working at these events has given David real time experience applying First Aid Principles coupled with being a Graduate Sports Therapist and qualified HSE first aid instructor his experiential knowledge is imparted during each course along with the core requirements of first aid training.

Gym Instructor Course Stirling

altGym Instructor Course Starting,-

9th September 2010 Alloa Business Centre ,

Whins Rd, Alloa.

Practical Element at Validus Gym Alloa.

Run over 10 weeks with full weekend attendance to be scheduled during the 10 weeks.

Course Cost £425 , deposit required when booking and balance at start of course. ILA funding may be available, get in touch for more information on ILA funding.

If you are a regular attendee of your local gym and enjoy the environment, why not think about a career change?  

Gym Instructors work direct with clients giving induction programmes and general assistance during their workout. Whether you would be happy working within a Local Authority facility or a larger chain you will need just one qualification – Gym Instructor SVQ Level 2.  

However, if your ultimate goal is to become a Personal Trainer enabling you to offer a higher service to your clients in terms of nutritional advice, etc why not become self employed and branch out by yourself!  

Please remember, for insurance purposes it is essential for Instructors to hold a valid First Aid certificate.

MMA Conditioning

Sports Therapy Scotland is currently involved with professional fight teams throughout Scotland , - Battlefield Gym , Hostile Territory and IKMS Scotland. The Sports Therapy Team are qualified strength and conditioning coaches and recognised by IKFF and BWLA /SWLA. The conditioning can be one on one or with groups in a circuit scenario and are always tailored to the needs of the client.
